Enriquez Materials and Quilting gained knowledge of the mattress manufacturing industry with personal experience through learning every phase of a supply company. The company began in 1991 in a two-car garage with a vision Martin Enriquez earned while employed in the industry.
In less than two years, his wife Silvia and his brother Leonardo, established the company's first facility in a 1,500 square foot building in South El Monte, California. The company launched with only one mechanical quilting machine and one repair sewing machine. Most customers were local with deliveries made using a pick-up truck.
While the resources were modest, the passion for excellence was instilled early on to provide quality products supported through unwavering customer service.
Recognizing the need to exceed customer expectations with on-time deliveries, the company has invested in the latest quilting machines and equipment to ensure production stays fully functional.
Customers are spread across the United States and Mexico with new markets opening in the countries of Central America. The company owns and operates a fleet of 12 trucks to handle deliveries.
The finest fabrics and fibers are used, comprising a full inventory line consisting of thousands of running patterns, from economical to the most exquisite lines.
